Edo's Camp is situated in the Kalahari area of Botswana. Edo's Camp offers not only a chance to explore the Kalahari area and it's inhabitants, but also offers a rich cultural experience with the people of Botswana.

The 'Edo's Experience' provides an intimate safari feel with a total of only eight guests in four spacious luxury tents. The camp is located at the edge of a rocky watering hole providing daily game sightings and varied bird activity. The tents have ensuite bathrooms and each has a private verandah with views across the watering hole.

Edo’s Camp is an eight bedded tented camp located in a 300,000 acre private game conservancy in the Kalahari area of Botswana. The camp itself is set around a rocky watering hole with the tents facing the pan. Accommodation is in spacious luxury tents under a thatched canopy and situated around ancient lead wood trees providing a cool retreat. The tents have ensuite bathrooms and each a private verandah with views across to the waterhole.

One of the anticipated activities at Edo’s is to visit a San Bushman village (about half an hour from camp) to experience their traditional lifestyle and to witness how they have adapted their existence to the environment. You will have the opportunity to join the women and children of the village on their typical and everyday gathering of food and medicines from the countryside. You will also be invited out walking with the Bushman trackers in search of the resident rhino, often seeing other wildlife along the way. A further rewarding experience is visiting the local orphanage based on the property, which is funded by private donations including yours (a percentage of your nightly stay is contributed to the orphanage – any extra donations are completely optional).

Activities:

Game drives are in 4 x 4 vehicles
Night game drives
Rhino tracking on foot
Bird watching
Walks
Swimming pool
Visit a San Bushman village
During the drier months guests may choose to stay in camp and watch the endless procession of game come to the water hole
Game typically seen at Edo's Camp is as follows:

Over 400 species of birds and 30 species of mammals. Animal examples are: gemsbok, hartebeest, kudu, springbok, wildebeest, giraffe, rhino and numerous other species
